This section applies to anyone developing a research project. The CTN+ can be consulted for advice and to provide services after CTN+ approval, which is dependent upon the type of competition.
When developing a new study for submission to the CTN+ seek experts who will provide you with advice and review your proposal. Find out if your institution will assist with project/grant development. With advance planning, a CTN+ Researcher can receive formal advice from the CTN+, these include:
- Connecting with your Regional Team and Think Tank
- Connecting with the CTN+ Knowledge Mobilization Hub which is a diverse group of academics, community members, and creatives, all working together to facilitate integration of community-centred approaches in research and knowledge mobilization.
- Assisting with the selection of types of grant funding calls which are most relevant to your research program as two of three specific CTN+ competition rely on external grant funding.
Please refer to competition-specific CTN+ Submission and Review Process Guidance information, available here.
If you simply need advice on where to find experts both within CTN+ and externally across Canada, contact Erin Cherban, Chief Clinical Research Officer (778-990-5372 or echerban@hivnet.ubc.ca).
