The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for leading and executing CANFAR’s comprehensive fundraising strategy, with a focus on major gifts, corporate partnerships, annual giving, special donor events, and donor stewardship. Reporting to the Co-Executive Directors and working closely with the CANFAR Events and Stewardship team and Board of Directors, this individual will drive revenue growth, donor engagement, and long-term sustainability in alignment with CANFAR’s mission and strategic goals.
This is a hands-on, in-person, position for an experienced Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant with an interest in our purpose and values, and the communities that trust Ribbon to provide support and empowerment. Financial operations, leadership in the areas of finance and operations, and organizational leadership are the primary functions of this position.
The Knowledge Broker, Harm Reduction, is a resource within CATIE for the implementation of harm reduction knowledge mobilization. This includes development of resources and delivery of online and in-person activities. This work involves collaboration with key community organizations and networks, including service providers who work with people who use drugs and people with lived or living experience. This position is supervised by the Manager, HIV and Harm Reduction, and works with other CATIE teams. The location of this position is flexible and can be full-time remote or a combination of full-time remote and at the CATIE office in Toronto. This position will also have occasional travel within Canada.
Postdoctoral Fellowship
Interested in being a CTN Postdoc? We invite applications from MDs who have completed their medical residency program or PhDs who have completed their Ph.D. Biostatisticians with a Ph.D. and working in an HIV or related health conditions group are also eligible to apply.
