Strengthening STBBI
Research Across Canada
The CTN+ occupies a unique position within the Canadian STBBI research landscape. By leveraging our collective strengths, individual experience, and regional perspectives, we are proud to support academic and community-focused training opportunities to expand capacity and improving impact in STBBI research.
Building Capacity for Community-Engaged Research
Through support from the CIHR Institute of Infection & Immunity, CTN+’s Phase 2 initiative aims to strengthen Canada’s capacity for inclusive, community-engaged clinical trials in HIV and other STBBIs.
These regionally led projects focus on implementing coordinated, national platforms that support training and mentorship, knowledge mobilization, and infrastructure for adaptive and community-informed research.
