This resource was produced in response to requests by community members, is intended for people living with HIV, front-line staff, and community members seeking information about the immune system and the potential HIV cure and immunotherapy strategies currently under investigation. Before outlining these main approaches, a brief overview of the immune system — and HIV’s impact on the immune system — is provided. The various phases of clinical trials are also outlined. This document has undergone review by community members for clarity and accessibility.
